Idea.
The following text is just «general philosophy» idea. It may open the alternative way to human development. It context no concrete step description, but it’s showing the direction the world should move to survive.
This text idea is based on the various socio-psychology and ethology articles and reports. Their contexts are just summarized here. While writing it the author referred to the ideas of biologists-ethologists and historicists-philosophers. Among biologists Conrad Lorenz and Victor Dolnik should be mentioned, the philosophers - Vernadsky and Guilev, the German sociologist Max Weber and French anthropologist - Jesuit Teyard de Chardin as well. Beside that the author addresses its WWF staff experience.
If speaking of conflict solving only two ways of its solving are considered now: either the very conflict-bringing object could be removed, or one of conflicting parts. But what could be done, if NONE of this actions are possible? If neither conflict object, nor subjects could be removed? In this text we would speak on Arab-Israel conflict but it would be the same for any civilization conflict now.
As one can see by our days human world has been changed. Due to mechanization, labor division and the very scientific and technological advance any rude unqualified manual labor constantly looses its importance. But to upgrade its qualification one should have its mind capable, ready to get new information. Like the majority of aged ex-Soviet people, deprived any electronic sets in course of their lives are not able to get accommodated to new computer technique, if they had never had any experience. Their mind fails doing it, no matter significant they were.
So by nowadays children and youth education (let’s call it juvenile education) gets more and more important. Juvenile period is crucial because in course of person mind development - up to 18-25 years , - the majority of thinking habits are being formed. These thinking habits are the most firm and can be hardly passed over. Actually they are laying at the basis of such common superstitions as Black cat, Friday, the 13th , and so on. Even the most educated person can hardly pass over any of those signs paying them no attention at all - in case it would be someone with European (or American) culture background. But those from China or India would be quite different - there are of different cultural background. Various civilizations superstitions are even antagonists sometimes. Never the less they are wildly believed by the most people. To prove it the Richard Cnocke’s book the «Strait and Crooked thinking» could be referred.
It would be possible to overcome it with juvenile education system developing. In the meanwhile that would make, in its turn, people less dependant on the appeals of those leaders, that are calling for their instincts - like many-many people, mostly politicians, are doing now. many politicians human instincts are the most convenient instrument to play on. These are: hunger, territory, alien recognition, status upgrading and unfortunately religion. Let’s leave the last one aside, it’d always be illogical and the most dangerous staff. So would it be worth doing to use these well-known instincts for conflicts mitigation?
So when specking of Israel - we can see the wild mixture of all of these fears. And nothing can be done while they are left with no control. As it has already been demonstrated above it can not be done without mind development through education. But in the meanwhile in Palestine or Iran there are enough of well-educated people, I suppose. And many Israeli opponents claim that an intelligent enemy is much more dangerous one. The problem is that they are not learnt to be tolerant. This quality can not be taken just from the air. A person should be thought it, thought since its childhood.
And here we would pass to the next idea, that seems me very evident. To bring up tolerate person, free of any politician appeals and able to upgrade its qualification a juvenile education system should be installed. IMHO in modern world its crucial.
But let’s return to Arab-Israel conflicts, and so-called «civilisations conflict» as well. Here this juvenile education system development should be combined with well-elaborated propaganda company. The propaganda idea was first developed and stated by the USA State Secretary Kissinger during the Cold War against the USSR. However it was used for many times before - the most vivid example here is Germany, When the first Hitler action was FREE radio sets distribution combined with the necessary mass-media programs. Quite soon the Word had faced the results. If speaking of another totalitarian system, the USSR, we are enjoying its results till nowadays. Since that time it was forgotten and never used again. Now it’s the very moment - but such a program should be he wise one. To prevent its immediate rejection by common people it should be not «straight ahead» - so nothing common with «This is America in the air» (or Israel), it could be private, interesting for the majority of non-occupied people ( which are usually meddle-age women and children), based on the books of medieval Persian philosophers - Muslims too, but their works would make worshiping them the very Saint Therese - we use this name here as an example of eternal understanding and forgiving. The modern fundamentalists had deteriorated those philosophers first - and that was the sunset of brilliant Persian Empire.
So if «the client» is claiming to Persia relationship, that could be used in wide propaganda company.
Many examples prove that the most assured in their belief fundamentalists are rather ignorant in their belief issues. They perfectly know the very ceremony, but it’s sense is still shut for them. And that could and should be used.
Sure that would produce a lot of resistance. Unfortunately, it would be hardly possible to carried out with no army participation and international funds as well. Instead of spending enormous amounts of money on healing the symptoms the very problem reason would be cured. Simultaneously that would contribute to civilization sustainable development sine qua non.
Though it sounds rather reasonable a lot of objections could be foresee. And too many VIP actors are involved in this process to realize it with no opposition - army would be the first one and who would be ready to contradict army? The politician-religion leaders can not be forgotten too. This program if initialized would lead to many independent people growing up, to civil society creation - and that would threaten the very existing of many modern institutions.
If speaking on Arab-Israel conflict, one thing gets evident as soon as you would contact any Israelite. The conflict is that hard and ancient ( it’s permanent partisan war actually) that both sides got into so-called Montecci-Kapuletty syndrome, described by Shakespeare in the «Romeo and Julia». The enmity, the feud of those family was that ancient that nobody could even restore its first reason and was fighting just «by inertia», tradition. Both sides offences were just constantly growing and only the death of both Children could stop it. By now the times had changed, the price would be evidently higher than two young lives. But both sides got more-or-less adapted for the situation. Let’s repeat - army and religions-politicians are the largest actors with enormous influence, skills and funding. With no international participation, military and funding first of all - nothing could be done. Even then the results can not be expected in short-time. It would be slow long-term program, changing the very approach to human evolution. Unfortunately no ways of its introducing except military constraint is seen - but no direct «aloud» conflicts are possible! That would destroy any positive effects! The army power could be used JUST for providing security for teachers or educational centers. However visiting the official UN site had shown that despite there is a special division, dedicated to Arab-Israel conflict as well as many authorized experts remarks- this idea is not even considered.
On the other hand - the opponent would be the very psychology of our current consumers society together with all its commercial corporations. Any commercial market goods promotion - i.e. the advertising,- philosophy is based on appealing for the basic instincts. By the way the contradiction with commercial corporations could be more dangerous than that one with the army. It would be hard to find someone ready for that. But since Homo sapiens is a consuming species but not a producer in ecological meaning - any person responsibility feeling development seems me unavoidable. The methodology in use by any PR-manager, advertising agent are to be used for public Enlightment.
The religion conflicts is harder. Certainly its solving is a part of this program - through removing of any orthodox (fundamentalists or just fanatic - whatever you want)’ views.
And any of these measures would fail with no democracy, which could be regarded as biology-based mechanism too- a society-government feed-back . Saying nothing on that such a program developing would contribute to civil society creation. In lack of it neither democracy, nor sustainable development are possible at all. The democracy approach is needed to hold under control military forces, which always tend playing the main role.
And after all Churchill was wise indeed by saying that democracy is very dangerous thing, but it is the best we now for now.
The text above would stay useless without its idea promotion. Unfortunately, its author has ho public relations at all. As well as no relation with any modern decision-makers. There is nothing but expectation that the text publication would bring its public discussion and thus it would be noticed by those, who have either relations or influence.
