Prejudice
Any prejudices are considered to be something wrong, any stinking a bit. And indeed to regard at a person only after colour of his hair or a nose form would be wrong, false and even stinking.
Generally all the prejudices of that kind are caused by an ancient instinct of alien distinguishing. That time an alien could mean a danger. But currently some «due prejudices» occurred.
The reason of any prejudices are differences of behaviour patterns. These patterns differ among people having grown up in various conditions. Sometimes it is related with different anthropogenic shape - just because of such people living in the same environment which causes that behaviour differences.
The simplest example that used to be very actual for the USA and so it is still actual is that the deliberated slaves, that were all negroes after deliberation got 1) the poorest society level , 2) suffering the society segregation. The result of such conditions was that for a long time all them were still badly educated and poorly developed. Their growing children were developed under the same bad conditions. They saw no ways to escape, got despaired and gave up (or they were discovering there own ways - those were the most talented ones and thus they affected the culture environment a lot). So that formed the relevant environment which was the background for further people development. All this people were black. That differed them from others. That caused a lot of difficulties with negroes integration into the society.
We can see now these difficulties were overcame more or less ( although it caused a lot of problems and it still causing them). The same situation is here.
Here in Moscow we always are getting anxious when we meet "southern", "Caucasus" people. But there is almost the same reason for that.
As our experience shows that the persons that were "mobile" enough to leave the places they live in and to come to Moscow, are usually badly educated and they had been developed in the completely different tradition. At home they were bounded by there own social traditions, that used to bind them rather hard, but if they’d` be strong enough to break those traditions they’d be still not ready to accept any new bounds, the traditions of our society. They do accept some, but the worst of them, such as bribing, threatening etc. And since these tradition-breakers are proving their efficiency ( as any power actors are), they are widely accepted by our society.
The root of this story was the breaking of local social traditions by our people, having come from outside . The "breakers" were foreigners to these societies - no traditional laws applied to them, they were out of any frames. They had incited the most active part of local society - who are usually the young, immature people. The youth is a always a danger but usually controlled by the older people - now a whole generation has developed out of the traditional frame.
These people were strong enough to break their local pattern, so now they are continuing to do so with ours here in Moscow. The state was not strong enough to prevent it. Thus this model was successful enough for our young people to accept it. So now it is a "chain" process. And I think that Europe is now meeting the same problem - the problem of assimilation.
And these newcomers, they look different from local people, thus their appearance is the main reason to strangers distinguishing (sometimes dangerous), and hence we are ready to regard any "southern" people as a danger. So it's a due prejudice. I'm afraid that the European appearance of Russian people caused the danger of the Russian mafia. The behaviour pattern is the same.
